This course is not a course about computers, however we will be using computers extensively in order to learn the material we are studyng. Most weeks we will meet in the computer lab for several hours. All students will learn how to use email, Netscape and the basics of SPSS.
Each student will have an account on the computer called
alpha. On alpha you can send and receive email, use CUNY+, and read newsgroups. If you
have a computer at home that has a modem, you can dial in to Alpha.
